Based on Scott's songs "Goderich Punks" and "Self Indulgence". The themes are interleaved: starting with a far-flung variation of GP, followed by the statement of SI, which is used as a "meta-theme" in that three separate sections of the song are used independently for variations. The piece ends with the statement of the GP theme, preceded by a variation of SI that recalls the opening music.
